Dr. Socak,

Norwood has asked that I contact you regarding the forgetter. It seems you have been in correspondence with this individual, and I feel that my previous experience with this individual may provide you with the insight necessary to appropriately evaluate this person's stories.

I have been aware of this individual for some time, though Norwood has not. I have not mentioned my experiences to Norwood because it would be disastrous to my reputation to acknowledge what is commonly believed to be a figment of the imagination. Acknowledging the forgetter is the equivalent in the lab of reporting the existence on earth of space aliens. It would be hard to get support for it's investigation, even with impeccable evidence.

One of the most unusual things about the forgetter that I have become aware of is his tendency to hallucinate. This tendency has severe effects on his reasoning abilities, and while he may believe the stories he tells, they are based in a hallucinated event. They are pictures created in his own mind reflected back at him, and have nothing factual to offer. Professionally, I would recommend that you not waste your time on information provided by the forgetter.

Thank you for your time. I look forward to our next meeting.

Sincerely,

Dr. Leon Harmond
